For this specialised research animal breeding facility in the Southern Highlands, KCP was responsible for designing the Mechanical services. The scope of work included all outside air conditioning system for the “BioBubble” pavilion, energy recovery system, the main energy plantroom, steam generation and reticulation, pneumatic conveying systems and all BMS control systems. The design included interfacing the primary chilled and heating water systems with solar thermal supply and the underfloor heating and natural ventilation aspects of the design.
